NCP Parking Ticket

I have recently received a £100 parking ticket for non payment of parking for 20 minutes ,It was dark and I could not see the notice straight away the pay machine was only accepting card payment and i only had cash after trying to find change and returning to the machine i saw the notice saying card only and then decided to leave but my fine notice has still been given to me, i think this is unfair do you think i should appeal?

So post up the PCN you received suitably redacted but leave dates. Edit so the identity of the driver cannot be inferred. The driver drove and parked,. the keeper received the letter
