  • Please help re pcn.

I received a parking charge from excel parking after ANPR clocked me using their site. I paid for the parking session using the Connect Cashless Parking App for the 1st time. Either I wasn’t prompted to, or I totally missed the box to fill in, but I did not enter my vehicle reg number. Nonetheless I paid for the session, topped it up again via the app when it had almost expired and left with time to spare.
i appealed the ticket and was rejected. After which, rightly or wrongly, I listened to advice that suggested I shouldn’t use the IAS to appeal again.
now I have incurred additional £100 to the initial £60 and threat of court. I do not want to pay the fee and wondered if their charge against me would stand up in a hearing.

just need advice about what I should do...

    thank you

So post up the original NTK that you received, suitably redacted but leave dates.

I would suggest you edit so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred.

So it was a failure of their app to check that a VRM had been entered but you actually paid.**

The only next stage is wait for the Letter before claim

Unfortunately the deadline was today and I bottled it. I made a payment under protest.
my own fault for leaving it last minute.
