ANPR picture of licence plate is unclear

Hi there, I'm after some advice please, I have received a PCN from an ANPR on a McDonalds car park. The picture of me entering the car park on the letter has a clear image of the licence plate, however the image supplied of me leaving the car park has the bottom half of the licence plate missing. The markings on the image could easily be the top part of a whole host of letters. My question is, without further images, can this alone, be enough for the company to be able to identify me as leaving at their stated time.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

You will find that there us also a seperate infrared system for reading the VRM so the fact that you cannot see the VRM is irrelevant.

Edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred.* Use "the driver......." etc.

Post up the redacted Notice to Keeper but leave dates.
