MET Parking Services PCN

We have been going through exactly the same with MET. No way of reaching anyone and now have a final reminder letter from their 'legal team' to pay 100. We have appealed to them via their website and have an appeal reference number. But they haven't accepted or rejected our appeal or provided a POPLA code either. They are now chasing us for final payment but I cannot reach anyone to get a POPLA code. Should I send a posted letter back?

Apologies- MET Parking services have charged us a fine for over staying in a macdonalds car park but there was no way of appealing to pay the reduced rate and we have tried to get in touch so many times. We haven't had a reference to appeal to POPLA.
