travelled up from Fife stopped at strother lane, parked in a disable bay signage up referring to parking charges and times. not notice any signage that disable have to pay. anyway 2 weeks later letter from Smart Parking Ltd enclosed letter parking charge notice £60 if paid in 14 days or £100 after 14 days,
Have smart parking ltd have the power in Scotland to enforce parking fines. No driver name on the letter
Any help would be appreciated

Edit your post NOW so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred. Use "the driver ......" etc.

In Scotland there is no keeper liability, only the driver. If they do not know the identity of the driver then they are lost.

Usual advice is to just ignore.

It's only we eejits south of the wall that have been made to suffer the passing of liability from the driver to an innocent third party, thereby departing from the usual rules on privity of contract.
