  • Parking eye ccj

    Hi,
received parking ticket from parking eye who managed the car park at holiday inn hotel.
i had permission to be parked there as was attending speed awareness course there.
appealed in usual way, with supporting evidence of course attendance which was rejected. Now escalated to a ccj from Northampton ccbc for £200 which I intend to contest.
Any advice in best way of doing this much appreciated.

    Thanks

So letter to management demanding that they cancel as you were a customer on the day. Can you post up PCN.

Acknowledge the claim on line but don't put anything in the defence

PCN was back in April last year. Have since discarded.

went to the Holiday inn last week with supporting evidence and spoke to the manager. He said I should have brought the ticket in to them straight away and they could have dealt with it. I replied how was I supposed to know this and that I had appealed the ticket in the usual manner as per the instructions on the ticket. He took copies and details and I received a letter yesterday saying ‘due to the information provided we are unable to assist you in pursuing an appeal with the parking management provider’ then referred me back to Parking eye.
there is a name and direct line on the letter of the ‘parking team’ member so not sure if it’s worth one more try?

      where do I acknowledge claim?
      is it moneyclaim website?

      Thanks

Use the address and password on the form to acknowledge. Nothing in the defence. This gives you 33 days from date of issue to get your defence to the court.

Try HI head office. Social Media sometimes brings results.
