  • Unpaid parking charge

I recived a letter for two unpaid parking charge notices, threating to refer it to their debt recovery department which effectively doubles the fine.

The two incidents to place on hospitol grounds. I was not the driver at the time. The date of the incidents was 23/01/18 and 23/01/18. The first correspondence I had from them was dates 03/04/18 how ever I recived them on the 13/04/18. I wrote to them telling them I don't now who the driver was and you contacted me after 65 days of the event.

My question is am I still liable after such a long time of the offence taken place. I was unable to get the details of the driver due to them notifying me so late after the event. Three people had insurance and access to the car they all denied it. I was the registered keeper now I'm getting threating letters.

do you know if there was tickets on the windscreen.

They are well outside the time limit to hold the keeper liable, just need a little more info to quote the relevant section of schedule 4 of The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012

    DO NOT IDENTIFY THE DRIVER
