Can anyone give me some advice regarding pcn’s received? I have received 3 letters today advising me I have a pcn over 3 different dates- it doesn’t say the amount the fine is on the letter but to contact Debt Recovery Plus Ltd. When I have called them they have advised that I have 27 tickets outstanding totalling £4250! The car park in question is opposite my work however I have a designated free bay I use in work. Though I am the registered keeper I car share and another individual was using my car 2 days a week on a temporary basis. Because I’m in Scotland apparently I don’t need to disclose who was the driver and this is something I don’t want to do though obviously I’m furious with them. But what I am wondering now is what’s the next best step? Because of the amount they could take me to civil court however it genuinely hasn’t been me parking there. I’m not sure whether I should also write to them explaining I wasn’t the driver. When I spoke with them on the phone today they were quite threatening and ended up hanging up on me when I asked for a breakdown of dates and charges, saying if I wasn’t going to pay why would they provide this. Although I called them I made it clear I wasn’t the driver.Anyone recommend best next steps? CAB haven’t been very helpful.

Please don't start 2 threads on the same matter, it gets people annoyed, especially when they have answered the other thread.
