I would add to that letter, if you were to send it, that the PCN that they forwarded does not comply with the requirements of POFA to be able hold the keeper liable and indeed they state that the driver is liable with no mention of keeper liability. For LEXX to pay this invoice when there can be no liability would be, to say the least, foolhardy.

Just wanted to say thanks for all your help and happy new year!!

I called Mcdonalds Gatwick and spoke directly to the manager who managed to cancel the fine by directly contacting MET parking, so all worked out well at the end!!

Yes they did which was £10 but they have refunded it too as the PCN was cancelled, so good news all round!!
