  • when can DVLA issue an NDA

    hi,

untaxed vehicle was clamped 17th april, removed 19th april from wiltshire to NSL newport

we were away and so missed notices, vehicle untaxed as it wasn't working, which i accept isn't an excuse

DVLA issued a NDA notice to NSL to dispose of vehicle on 28th april

wilsons auctions (next door to NSL newport apparently) now have vehicle.

i have to pay £633 to NSL (removal, surety and 13 days storage)
i also have to pay wilsons £180 admin fee is i want the vehicle back

sale is now on hold till 16th May after i called.

my question is about this admin fee, as read elsewhere a vehicle couldn't be disposed of in less than 5 weeks so wondering if i have any grounds for getting this admin fee refunded? as a NDA notice shouldn't of been issued????

any help on this matter is greatly appreciated. thanks
