Hi all I was pulled over while driving smoking a cannabis cigarette, obviously I failed the swab test and was arrested. I refused to provide a blood test due to a fear of needles. I was prosecuted for failing to provide and DQ for 12mths. I have received a form from DVLA to reapply for my license. The form states that I must provide a blood sample, this is something I cannot do. My research has shown that due to me being stopped for drugs I must provide a urine sample as a blood test only tests for alcohol CDT levels. Before I send a letter to DVLA can someone please confirm that my research is correct and it's a urine sample not a blood test that I must provide? TIA
