  • County Court Claim Form just received- HELP!

Last yr I had a car accident (my fault). I rang my insurers (I'm fully Comp) let them know of the accident and gave them details of the driver etc. I was under the impression that everything was taken care of however today I've received a scary looking letter which is a N1SDT claim form threatening to take me to court if I don't pay up a lot of money! I rang my insurers who told me that the third party department closed at 5:30 so I had to wait until tomorrow- any ideas why I'd receive this? I was told explicitly at the time of the accident by my insurers that I didn't need to worry about the other drivers car and that it would all be taken care of. Any advice would be much appreciated!

I'd imagine your insurance company will deal with it, that's certainly what most people would expect they've paid for !
