    Hi I got this agreement on a car several years back when I was desperate and have paid over half of it back am I eligible to vt or is there anything to do to get out of this as we have a baby on the way and another car and can't afford the high monthly payment thank you in advance.

                hello sorry, bank holiday weekend keeping me occupied - Credit sale agreements don't have a VT right I believe, as although it is regulated by the CCA it is not one of a conditional sale or hire purchase. You agree to make the monthly payments over the fixed period but ownership of the vehicle should pass to you straight away.

                II can't see much out of the photos but have a look through your terms and conditions there should be a clause in there which says you own the vehicle, if it doesn't then it could potentially be disguised as a conditional sale agreement.

                Think of credit sale agreement similar to a loan

                If you can upload a better photo of the agreement I'll take a better look at it tomorrow.
