  • Parking ticket

Hi there, I hope someone can help with this parking ticket. I was parked for approximately 5 minutes in in Grange Place Jarrow. I had only went to the bank. When I came out there was a ticket on my screen and several others-the warden had been a busy boy! I was using my colleagues car from work so I told the council this to save any problems. I emailed them and told them I would be making an appeal in due course. They took this as an appeal and wrote the letter which is attached here. I have also posted up the picture that they sent me. In their letter they state that I was parked on a single yellow line-someone did not look at the pic as I had parked on badly maintained yellow lines. The lines have no clear 't' at the end of them and are broken and not continuous in several areas and I will post up extensive pictures tomorrow to show this. I would like some guidance from the experts to appeal this please. Thanks in advance, Mc

              Re: Parking ticket

It says in the letter that your next chance to appeal will be when they send out the "Notice To Keeper" ... could you wait until then to appeal (and tell the owner that you will pay if the appeal fails)?

I appealed one many years ago on the old Consumers Forum and won but I don't think that is active now? Mc
