  • Parking ticket in visitors area -Council

Hi again, got a parking ticket in an area where you need a visitors permit, I had put the permit on but had mistakenly flipped it over, so they are doing me for having the permit the wrong way up, the house I was visiting has CCTV and I am seen putting the permit in on it, am thinking of perusing it...?? (Off the council the ticket is, not complete Cowboys)

any help would be great again thanks.....

So it's a council ticket by the looks of it.

I've moved the thread and put council in the title so those that can help with it see it.

I know very very little about them.

Just an idea, but couldn't you appeal the PCN using the cctv as proof you had a permit?

if it was an honest mistake that the permit was placed wrong, then surely they could give you some leeway??

Re: Parking ticket in visitors area -Council

The CCTV shows something getting put in the car, we reckon the wind blew as the door was shut and that's what flipped it, the response from the council has took a while tbh, and seems to carefully worded to focus on 'drivers responsibility to have ticket on show' or something very similar.

The other thing is the picture seems to be close up of the ticket and we could say that that's someone else's car !!!

If I peruse does anyone know the next steps..?? We want to go further but are unsure of any costs we may incur, court etc,

                    Thanks
