    In post 5 OP says he went to hospital and so presumably is following their advice and so cannot be accused of aggravating his injuries by neglecting to obtain medical advice.
    No need to scare op unnecessarily.
    Having said that I did advise a further hospital visit (post 14)

      So long asyou has covered the bases, been back to A & E it should be OK, now as I mentioned earlier, if you are allowed a coutesy car, beware a claims management firm offering an "Upgrade" as a like for like, as usually a courtesy cas is something small like a Corsa. In your case if you normally drive an automatic due to your disability you would be reasonable in asking for an automatic. The upgrade is usually tried on if the damaged car ia s Mercedes, and the idea is they upgrade the courtesy car with a Merc on hire then the other parties insurance picks up the tab for the hire. doesn't always work out, and can land the user with a big bill if they refuse to cough up. They couldn't quibble if you had to have an automatic rather than the manual on offer due to your disability though.
