    I imagine that would be a far preferable route to court.

          Do I understand corretly that not full complience with the hire contract legislation invalidates the entire contract?

            I don't know sorry. Contract law can be complex I believe and my knowledge of it is pretty basic. I don't want to get into territory where I'm not pretty sure what I'm saying is right. You can maybe get advice on this by posting a link to this post in a different section of the site. I don't know if there's previous case law which sets precedents in this area or anything.

            Sorry, but I can't answer that one for you. Post a link in the legal bit and get some people in who know more than me in that area. :beagle:
