Court letter for parking charge

I am preparing my defence for the civil national business centre over a parking charge from smart parking. I’ve no idea where to start. How do I write up my defence. Others I’ve seen written are all very professional sounding. My points are that the parking charge was sent after the 14 days and that although I had an acknowledgement for my appeal, which was well within the time frame, I wasn’t given an answer nor a code to appeal to POPLA.

Remove all names/addresses and reference numbers but leave in all dates & times.

Are DCBLegal the solicitors acting for Smart Parking?

Have you acknowledged the claim?

Have you sent a SAR to Smart and a CPR31.14 letter to the solicitors?

Has the driver's identity been released to Smart Parking?
