Hi The Keeper received response from POPLA which included the following

"the operator has reviewed your appeal and chosen to cancel the parking charge. As the operator has withdrawn your appeal, POPLA’s involvement has now ended and you do not need to take any further action.

Glad to have helped, and thanks for the update.
Now just keep that letter safe for the next 6 years ... not joking as we regularly see attempts to revive parking charges 5 years down the line!
