  • UK Parking

This is the first letter I have received, I was not the driver and I shouldn’t be the registered keeper I am the appointee as this is Motability car.
So the person forgot to register the parking for the night and remembered 3 hrs later and registered the car. My question is the parking for the day/night is £6 the £100 fine is excessive is there a way to appeal on these grounds willing to pay for the 3 hrs.
    Thanks in advance

Is this the first notification you have receive about this event?

The car should be registered to Motability.
Are you registered as the keeper with the DVLA (or is that statement by ParkingEye a porky)/

Assuming you are not the registered keeper are you the keeper of the vehicle?

So I would be writing a letter along the following lines:

          Dear Sirs,

I am in receipt of your letter of 28th April, which is the first intimation I have received regarding this matter.

I was neither the driver, the registered keeper nor the keeper of vehicle with VRN xx 11 xcv at the time of the alleged parking event.

I do not expect to hear from you further other than to confirm you have delete my personal data from your records

          Yours ffly

They probably won't accept your denial but you need to start somewhere!
