Can anyone help? I have been shopping in the same Aldi for 5 years. They have anpr cameras for parking. Last week I was there doing my usual shopping with elderly parent. They have 1/12 hour maximum stay which I know! They have 4 terminals to put your reg in after shopping. One wasn't working and the one I put my reg into seemed to have a glitch as I put my reg in as usual and the screen flickered and went blank for a split second, assumed was added as normal. A week later I get a parking notice saying that I stayed there for 1 hour 15 mins which I thought strange as that is within the time. I can only assume the the terminal didn't register my reg. I don't keep every single receipt or forget. What do I do now? Appeal saying their machine is wrong or what. Like I said I go there every week and never had this happen

    Go back to Aldi.
Speak to the manager and in view of the fact you are a weekly customer and the registration machines were playing up you want him to have the ticket cancelled.
If he refuses contact their customer services and complain.
