    Car insurance no renewal quote

    Hi all, I'm getting mixed info online. Anyone out there who is in UK and good at car insurance queries would be appreciated. My question is: many yrs ago (20ish) car insurer sent letter regarding my renewal, they said could not offer renewal quote as they were not competitive enough. So now when I get quotes online where it asks have you ever had insurance cancelled, refused or declined. What do I put? Was is classed as declined? Thank you all just so confused at the moment.

    No, it doesn't refer to renewal quotes, it refers to outright 'NO' we can't provide insurance cover.
