Hi, just wanted some advice. I have brought a parking permit for a specific carpark. Whilst it allows me to park there I do not have a designated parking area. The problem I have had for a few weeks is that everytime i try to park there spaces are completely filled up and i am having to park in another area (owned by the same people that own the car park i have a permit for). So i'm paying for my permit as well as a daily parking ticket in this other area. Do i have any rights in this situation to complain? What are my options in this situation if i even have any at all? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Parking Permit...but no spaces!

So you have paid for something without knowing exactly what it is you are entitled to and what rights you have? Can you email the owners and ask them for the terms and conditions you have signed up to? Others may have different views but I think without knowing what you are entitled to it is difficult to complain!

...but I think without knowing what you are entitled to it is difficult to complain!
And this doesn't sound very promising:
The agreement via email was that the parking company would provide me with a permit, but no designated parking spot.

It is often the case in such situations that there are fewer spaces than cars whose drivers wish to park. Sometimes this results in many employees arriving at wok ever earlier, just so they can secure a space.Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic.
