I have entered into a lease contract with a car hire company for them to lease my vehicle out to third parties, as they have breached their contract on two occasions now with not paying on time and now completely ignoring any correspondence I have sent them regarding this matter, I have now got trading standards involved. However the client who is in my vehicle is refusing to release my vehicle on the 24th November 2023 as he is owed funds from the same car hire company. Can he withhold my vehicle without my consent? Because as from Friday 24th November 2023 there is no contract in place.
i will be reporting the car stolen from then but will the police be able to recover my vehicle?
