  • Issue with garage repairs

Hi, I took my van to a garage for a timing chain replacement, on completion the owner stated the van has now got a rough sounding engine which he claimed should go away shortly. Long story short..the van is now sounding damaged with a loud knocking engine. He has made several excuses to me as to why this has happened & blaming me. When I too the van in for repair it had a timing chain rattle, on collection it was sounding much worse with knocking sound, how can I fight this case?

You will need to ascertain the fault and prove the garage caused it.

To do that you will need an independent engineers report
