I was stopped by the police on 1/4/21 and was given a 'Traffic Offence Report' - yellow ticket.
On the ticket it stated - You will be reported for consideration of the question of prosecuting you for the above offence(s).
As of today - some 43 days later - I have heard nothing from the police.
I am told that if the police do not send a notification of intended prosecution within 14 days of the offence to my home address then no further action can be taken.
Is this correct, or does the 'ticket' count as notification of intended prosecution, and could action still be pending.
