Bus gate ticket

Hi. My mate did get bus gate ticket. Council done it recently and he didn't know it was done there.
What signs are required?
He was going left from one road and as he turned there was that Bus gate and he went through it.
Please see pictures. Thanks for any advice

If he is bang to rights then pay it at the reduced rate.
