    VWFS VT and excess mileage

    Today, 13:45:PM
Hi I recently VT’d my car. I gave notice of The VT in November and the car wasn’t actually collected until January.
i have now received a letter saying I owe £753 which they tried taking out of my account without any notice, luckily I noticed this and cancelled the payment. I presume this amount is for excess mileage as the car was immaculate and at the inspection there was not damage noted.
is there a template of some kind I could use to fight the excess mileage as from the research I have done. It looks like they have no right to try and reclaim this cost as it was part of a contract that is now void and the cost of this has arisen after I have terminated the contract and as I’ve returned the car in a more than reasonable condition I have fulfilled my side of the contract.
has anyone got a link to a template stating the relevant acts . I want to avoid making one myself as I don’t want to include anything that could impact on my argument.
