  • How to remove car from private parking bay?

A car has been parked in my private parking bay for 3 years.* I have been using the bay next door, but I really need to get this car shifted.
The car is taxed, insured, and has a dodgy MOT (while I was at work it was towed out of the bay and then towed back into the bay with fewer miles than it left with!)
I contacted the Council and they won't do anything as it is on private property.* The police say it is a civil issue.
I have sent a V888 form to DVLA to get the owner's address, but even with the address, I don't know how I can compel the owner to move the car.
Has anyone got any experience on how to deal with unwanted cars parked on their property?
Any success stories on getting similar issues resolved?
    Thanks for any help.

So send an invoice for the use of your property, and send an increased one every month.

When you send that invoice, include a letter advising the owner that as it is on your property you will be*pursuing a legal claim for nuisance on the grounds that the driver is interfering with your use and enjoyment of your property and he has xx weeks to remove it.
