  • Highview Parking fine- what to do?

Hello, I would very much appreciate any help.

The keeper of the vehicle has received a £70 fine (they're claiming that this is the 2nd letter they've sent out but they did not receive a letter at all) as they overstayed a 2-hour stay at Tesco. They stayed for a total of 2 hours and 22 minutes but this was due to the fact that the driver had lost their keys and could not find them anywhere. The driver went back into Tesco and they finally found the keys to the car after a period of time- a Tesco employee also helped the driver massively. What should the keeper of the vehicle do next?

    Thank you.

Try complaining to Tesco and get them to get the charge cancelled.

Otherwise post up a redacted copy of the Notice to Keeper.

Have you got a written confirmation of that? Often the parking companies ignore.
