  • Private Parking Tickets in Scotland

    Hey Everyone,

Ive been reading through a few forums on people in similar situations but found that these cases were in England and Wales. I wanted to check legal ramificions as the registered keeper, for a ticket I received today 07/01/19 in Scotland.

I have noticed one reoccuring theme regarding the ticket not being received within the time limit of 14 days - This ticket was recieved 16 days following the event 22/12/18.
is this grounds to stand the standard letter.

Thank you for your help and advice in advance.

In Scotland for a parking event in Scotland then the keeper just ignores. There is no keeper liability under POFA in Scotland. They can only proceed against the unknown driver and there is no legal requirement to identity the driver.
