Dear Beautiful People,
Please help me with this matter as am confused and running out of time.
I'm a resident in a block of flats and we have our own private parking. On the 09th/03/2018 I received a parking ticket issued by ACE security which is the frame that monitor and petrol our parking. The ticket was issued because they couldn't see my parking permit displayed on the windscreen, this because the window was slightly opened and the wind blew the permit in between the seats. on the same day i emailed them "ACE security" stating that I'm a resident and i have a parking permit for my vehicle, I included the Parking permit's number and the initial of the person issued it from the housing management. I haven't heard back from them and i thought the matter is dismissed. After i came back from a short holiday yesterday, I found a Northampton County Court's claim form dated on the 18th/09/2018 of which GLADSTONES SOLICITORS LTD on behalf (the Claimant): PACE RECOVERY & STORAGE LTD. AS a result, i went online and acknowledge the claim on moneyclaim.gov.uk website. I however, confused on what to do next and how to defend myself as i no longer have the car or the permit anymore. all i have is the permit number, the initial of the person who issued it and the receipt for the payment i made for the permit.
please can someone help me as this matter is causing me a great deal of stress and anxiety.
thank you for all your help
Alexandra
