  • Voluntary Termination

    Hi,

    I’m looking for some advice...
As of the end of this month I will have paid half of my finance agreement for my car with Barclays. I have read that they are the worst for returning your car too which is already giving me lots of anxiety!!

How long does the termination process normally take?
Do I cancel the direct debit once I have notified them of imediate termination?
Also, would I have to wait until All has been settled / car has been collected before looking at a new car deal. I would struggle getting to work without a car and I am worried that I may need to wait and realise this could be a long process.

    Thanks

Yes, cancel the DD once you've paid half else they have no impetus to do anything.

No need to wait on a new deal, the 2 aren't connected.
