  • Parking charge notice - health centre

Hi there, never posted on a forum before. I'm looking for some advice. I parked at my local health centre to take my 3 month old baby for her jabs. You have to enter your car reg which I'm sure I did but have no proof! I have now received a parking charge notice from civil enforcement Ltd for 60 or 100 pounds if not paid in 14 days. The health centre can provide a letter saying I attended an appointment but reading on social media from people at the same practice they have been rejected even when they had the letter and were threatened with debt collectors and court.
    any advice would be appreciated

If you can get the practise manager to email CEL demanding that they cancel the charge.

Your defence will be that you entered your reg No. but the system failed to record correctly.

Thank you for your response. I'm waiting for a response from the practice manager but the receptionist said they can only fill in this letter for me to say I was at an appointment at the health centre and could do nothing more as the parking company were nothing to do with them?

So you are providing your registration number to reception and they are nothing to do with them? Hmm........

Find out who does employ them if you can.
