Hi peeps, can anyone please clarify a matter of parking regulations re Northern Ireland bus stops. Clearly the law states that parking in a bus stop is prohibited, but from what I can tell all such bus stops should have a solid yellow line at the curbside with a dashed yellow box. Every bus stop I have seen in NI does not have this solid yellow line, and in some cases it has actually purposely removed after a road contractor painted it in after laying new road. I can't find any exceptions to road signs for NI so where would one stand if they were to foul the yellow box with the words 'bus stop'? Obviously one would get slapped a ticket but technically would they be right to do so?
