I just received a Notice of Enforcement from a company called Newlyn. Apparently a year ago I committed a traffic violation, contravention 52JM The company are asking for £203 plus £75 compliance fee. ISlington council have passed this on to them. I have never received any PCN notice from Islington council and this is the first I am aware of it. I suspect they have an old address, as I have moved home. I will be calling them in the morning and hopefully this is the case I would like to know what my options are? I have no problem paying the original charge but Do i have to pay non -payment of fine charges when i wasn't even aware of the fine. Any advice greatly appreciated.
