Re: Car stopped dead in traffic advice needed
I am assuming that this is a second hand vehicle?
My understanding is that within the first 6 months after the purchase you can return to the dealer and advise them there was a fault with the vehicle. It is then their responsibility to fix it if they can't prove that the fault wasn't there when you purchased it.
Someone will definitely give you better advice, but this was some advice i got from Which? when we purchased our car a while back...
