    Addtional council tax

    Hi,
    Please can anyone advice me if I have to pay additional council tax if I move my boyfriend in, I already pay full council tax with no reduction or benefits!

    Do you claim single adult discount ( 25% ), if so, you will loose that, but thats it, no further costs
    crazy council ( as in local council,NELC ) as a member of the public, i don't get mad, i get even

      If you pay full rate with no reduction, or claim single person discount as mentioned by Crazy Council, then no nothing further to pay, but your BF would become jointly liable to pay it with yourself.
