  • council tax as far back as 1992 in scotland

    hi there

this one started a few years back perhaps 2009/10 , local council came after me looking for around £20,000 , back in time i had a couple of rented properties and had moved house quite a lot myself , so 20k was made up of council tax bills left behind by tenants , myself moving house and not telling the council , so to cut it short , in and out of court a couple of times , i produced rental agreements and it came down to only £11,000 , i paid this by dd at £400 a month until paid , at the same time they stung me for £2600 in costs at the same meeting , this was to be paid after council tax was all paid , at the time when all agreements were made i was falling apart , i had never dealt with a lawyer and the council tax task force before , they bullied me into an agreement with the threat of taking me with back into court and possible bankruptcy , i have paid all of the council tax and around £700 of the costs , but in the past few years my income has fallen away to just a part time job , but have still the same number of children to keep , i simply cant afford to pay them , dose any one think there is a chance of me challenging the amount of costs i was forced to agree to i never signed any thing

    thank you

Write a begging letter to Alex Salmond.

Perhaps he'll let you harvest a few leaves from the money tree with which he hopes to run his new kingdom.
