    Council Tax Band Appeal to VOA house price proof

    I'm appealing against council tax banding but need proof of local house property prices in 1991. Local estate agents not helpful. Can't seem to find local newspaper ads on line for that time. Anyone managed to find a way of getting proof that VOA will accept?

    You could try the following:

    Propertymark

    National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA)

    Also try ZOOPLA (there will be other websites that carry the same information), type in details of your
    location, then that should bring up house sales on your road and how much the house was sold for. This
    is dependant on house sales on your road in that period. It might be 'none'.

    Update if you need more input.
