  • Overpayment to the bailifs?

So I had bristow and suitor set up an arraignment to pay my council tax debt. On my letter from them it says I owe 350. I have now paid 6 months a total of 430 and On the website it says I still owe 113 and that my remaining payments are 85 this month and a further 80 for four more months which totals well over 113.
What can I do in this situation does anyone have any advice?

    Hi Red

Take screenshots of the online account. Write a formal letter of complaint, explain what's happened, exactly as you have here. Send a copy of the payments you have made from your bank. Explain that you want the over payment returned with interest./ compensation.

Follow their complaints procedure, ask them to email you details - https://www.bristowsutor.co.uk/clien...th-complaints/

    Please update the thread.
