Someone I know who is visually impaired (completely blind for 20 years - he is now 46) has received an eviction notice after their rent money (paid by universal credit) did not go through.
They are planning to meet an MP about this, however I would like to ask would it be worth taking this case to court? Bearing in mind, none of this is their fault. They have had problems with universal credit money not going through recently however this came up out of the blue.
If anyone with experience in eviction law can help with this, please contact me via PM.
