In November 2007 my husband and I paid off our mortgage with Scotlife Home Loans (no. 3) we are going through the
process of equity release but the land registry still show a charge on our property which is holding up the transaction as
although we have got the statement showing the chaps payment we havent got any other information how do we go about getting
this confirmation.

I had this, what I did was contact the lender who was very understanding and within a few hours they had pressed the switch on their internal software that told the LR to remove the charge. I was amazed. Then you should be able to continue?
