  • Selling house planning

There is a proposed planning for a newbuild estate near my home. I personally have recieved nothing. Neighbours told me that they got a leaflet however i didnt maybe because my house is for sale so they missed me out on leaflet drop?. Planning permission has not been put in. Theres no guarantees they would get it. However my house is STC Do I have to inform the seller. If I do I will lose them and there is no guarantee that it will happen and no planning permission has been put in yet.

    1. What questions have you been asked by the buyer and in the Property Information Form? You must give truthful answers.

    2. Otherwise/additionally you must say nothing that is incorrect or misleading.

    3. What does your solicitor advise?

    4. Otherwise, caveat emptor.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
