Certified Copies

Hopefully an easy to answer question: Is it possible/acceptable to sell a property with only a certified copy of the dees?

That is how much old style conveyancing was carried out. The certification was carried out by the buyer comparing the part copy deed supplied against the original retained copy of he whole conveynace,

But we as the sellers only have a certified copy of the deeds - we do not have access to the original. Will a we be able to complete a sale?

It may depend on just what the copies aare certified copies of and how they have been certified.
