    We are looking to buy a property and the title register has this on
    RESTRICTION: No disposition of the registered
    estate, other than a disposition by the proprietor of
    any registered charge registered before the entry
    of this restriction, is to be registered without a
    certificate signed by the applicant for registration

    I have removed council and solicitor details as well as court order reference.
    what does it mean in simple terms please?

    It is a Land Registry restriction K, entered when a charging order is made in respect of the interest of 1 of 2 or more joint owners of a property. It means that at the time of applying to register a sale of the property notice must be given to (in this case) the named Council.

    Your solicitor should be able to do this for you.

      The idea is to give the chargee opportunity to do whatever his charge allows him to do. What that might be depends on the documents.
