Hi
I have received the above notice. I own a piece of rear garden that has been severed from the original property. The OP is a house that has been coverted into 2 flats. On their titles is a restriction:
no disposition of the registered estate by the proprietor of the registered estate is to be registered without a certificate signed by the proprietor for the time being of the estate registered under title number DT.....(my title) or, if appropriate, signed on behalf by its conveyancer that the provisions of clause 4-9.2.3 of schedule 4 of the lease have been complied with.
They have said that the title quoted in the restriction is no longer relevant as the freehold title referred to in clause 4-9.2.3 of schedule 4 of the lease is no longer registered under title number DT (my title)
so what was the point of the restriction in the first place?
