hiya im new to this but basically ive been living in my private rent flat for about 6 n half years recently the landlord put the rent my currwnt cicumstances i cant afford to pay the rent increase and may be getting a notice of eviction been to the housing and they are not going to help me with any more money as im already getting the most housing benifit i do work part time just wanting some advice if anyone has any for me i have told the estate agents that deals with my property i cant afford it and they are gonna let my landlord know i have a 6yr old daugter thank u x

Do you currently live there under an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement? (a signed document that's still "in date" and usually has the words "assured shorthold tenancy" written on it)
Also, is this in England?
