  • Tenancy agreement

My parents both pensioners signed their tenancy agreement on 29th September 2014 with the council, after reading the tenancy agreement it says that it is an introductory tenancy and that a year on the anniversary it will become a lifetime tenancy only the date for it to become a lifetime tenancy should be 2015 but on the agreement it has that it will convert into a lifetime tenancy on 29th September 2014 surely as the dates are wrong it makes the tenancy agreement void or are council legally bound to make it a lifetime tenancy from the date stated? please can anyone help

No, it is a clear error and not the intention of the parties.
