    Re: n power

Thank you for that, Maxine. It is probably an HSI who is calling you back. If your cases does not fall within EH's remit, then it may well be within the remit of HSE.

What are we looking at if EH or HSE are interested?
      Will it go to court?

At least one of them will.

There was a gas explosion on a housing estate in Plymouth a few years ago when a gas boiler exploded in a house which sent masonry flying, striking a nine year-old girl who was walking past the house at the time, killing her instantly. I believe HSE were involved in the investigation of that incident.

N Power are totally dismissing this saying the first engineer did nothing wrong, he came out to see to a pilot light going out and he put the boiler on again!!!!

Clearly NPower couldn't give a flying fig about public safety. Their actions are reckless to say the least.

If Environmental Health seem incapable of putting their backsides into gear, it might be better to contact the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) directly.

As for NPower, you are within your rights to ask the reason for their request to visit.
